This Week for Wardell's Wonders - March 3-7

UPDATE
The spelling test is Friday as normal.
The selection test for Amelia and Eleanor Go For a Ride has been moved to Monday, March 10.
The wrong scavenger hunt was sent home tonight for homework in reading, so the students just need to read the story.  I will send home the correct scavenger hunt tomorrow in order for them to work on over the weekend.  This will help them prepare for the selection test.  They should also be using the links I have posted to the reading page
(tab is at the top).

Mon. - You have a science test over chpt. 16,  and your February reading calendars are due to Mrs. Wardell.
Thurs. - You have a grammar test over sentences.  Your GNB is also due today.  Please make sure this is current (activities complete and coloring complete - don't forget to include the information needed in the table of contents).
Fri. - EARLY RELEASE TODAY! (Carpool starts at 12:30):
You have a spelling test and a selection test over Amelia and Eleanor Go For a Ride.  Check out the links and videos I have posted to our reading tab above for this story!

If you have not turned in a jar for your grandparent flowers, please do so by this week.  We need to get the flowers in the jars and have them ready to go before Grandparent's Day.  PLEASE make sure that your child's name is on the bottom of the jar before turning it in.  Thank you.

Grandparent's Day is an early release day, so I will be sending a form home in order for you to let me know who will be taking your child home that day.  Please be on the look out for this soon.

Make sure you are checking all the tabs above for the different pages.  The pages are updated weekly and need your immediate attention.  Also, we have been keeping an eye on a young eaglet and its parents.  We have written about this eagle family in our journals, we have documented their behaviors, we also wrote "eagle" poetry that we will be posting on the blog soon!  Click on the link below if you would like to take a look.  Thank you!
